Sadqah
Understanding
What is Sadqah?
Sadqah is voluntary charity given for the sake of Allah at any time, in any amount, to anyone in need. Unlike Zakat it has no fixed rate and no restricted recipients — its only condition is sincerity of intention.
The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Sadqah does not decrease wealth.' It shields the giver from calamity, softens the heart, and continues to earn reward long after it is given — especially when it takes the form of sadaqah jariyah, ongoing charity such as a well, a school, or knowledge that keeps benefiting others.
Sadqah donations received by the trust go toward daily food and shelter for our residential students, teaching materials, and emergency assistance for families in crisis. Even the smallest amount is welcomed and multiplied in barakah.
